Easter Sunday 4 APRIL 201
NOT THE NAT MEET or BAYSIDE EASTER BUNNY HOP
Venue: JACOBS WELL Bayside Tavern.
Time: 12.00 - 12.30 FOR LUNCH.
Registration: Numbers required NO LATER THAN - TUES 30 MARCH - 55302089 - Darkes
Logistics:
* Meet at NERANG Council Complex VISITOR CAR PARK.
* 10.30 AT NERANG for 11.00 depart
* Easy 40km run (just under 1hr) over ALL sealed road with a couple of VERY SHORT steepish sections.
* Absolutely NO FREEWAY (unless you want to use it on the way home).
VENUE COMMENTS:
* New owner been there 4 months.
* Tavern has undergone renovations, in particular a very nicely presented DINING AREA looking across the park to the bay.
* Dining Area seats about 65 & is NOT open to public during the day. It will be set up specifically for our club on the day.
* Menu for the day is TBA. Choice of 3 or 4 mains. Max cost pp $20. (Personal Review - steak lunch on weekday was excellent @$20.)
* Exclusive parking for club cars.
* Route will be Urban/Rural, ideally suited to relaxed MG touring. Naturally weather will be Easter Perfect.
ATTENDANCE INCENTIVES:
* Great value raffle extending to 3 prizes.
* Car joke competition. Great prize for best joke in 50 or less words. Write it down NOW & bring it on the day.
* Great company, great venue, short scenic run - SAYS IT ALL.
May 9 Macleans Bridge Classic and Sports DisplayTully Memorial Park at Macleans Bridge, Beaudesert Rd.
Note: This is a half day event. Time in the afternoon to get together with Mum!
Multi-club static classic and sports car display.Attended by all major classic and sports car clubs.Prizes for best club display and numerous car class awards. Estimate 600+ cars.
This will be a special year for Macleans Bridge. It is to be the last year for this display at this venue. Your chance to say farewell to Macleans Bridge. And the chance is 9 May 2010. Mark it in your calendar! This year there will be a plated breakfast available. Make it Mum’s breakfast. There’ll also be activities to keep the kids amused, and a band to entertain those that tire of looking at tyres.

TWILIGHT TWITTERS
If numbers are any indication of your enjoyment, then the Twilight Run on 31st January was a success.
The plan had been to enjoy the Full Moon view of the Tallai Golf Course and surrouding Mountains!
An almost record of 25% of the Club membership took part.
The run had a Mystery time and 15 cars were quicker (naughty!).
But the win goes to Moya & Jim Haines.
