The club is planning a longweekend trip to Ballina, NSW, the location of the Gold Coast MG Club’s 2014 (new generation) National MG Meeting.
The weekend will be a very low key event with focus on touring through fabulous countryside. emphasis will be on fun and relaxation.
Accomodation has been reserved at the Ballina Heritage Motel (15 double rooms (already taken, but more have been reserved) at $120 per night) so be quick to book a room.
Saturday: meet at Plantation Cafe in Tallebudgera for a pre trip coffee or breakfast before setting off via hinterland roads for Bangalow, where we will take a look at the Goodwood Rival Themed Concourse grounds for the 2014 Nat-meet. Then we will wind our way to Ballina. Dinner will be either at the RSL or a nearby restaurant.
Sunday: A leisurely run out to somewhere interesting for lunch (possibly with the local classic car club). Dinner will be at the RSL across the road from the Motel.
Monday: Time to wander home, but en-route there will be opportunities for a dip in the ocean and/or some retail theraphy in Byron or do your own thing.
Contact Murray Arundell (Details in The Time Machine) to reserve a room and for more details. Payment for rooms to the club.
