Madeleine and Neil have organised a short drive, about 100 km on winding and shady roads, and over several little bridges for Easter Sunday. Morning tea is in a beautiful park, with tall trees and a winding stream through grassy banks. A few tables and seating here, but bring your own everything: a rug for the grass or chairs and tables if you need these. This park has been dedicated to those who remember the Viet Nam War – 2016 is 50 years since Long Tan.
Lunch is at a country café, the menu is simple but the food is good – BLT, Steak Sandwich, Fish and Chips, and the chips are the best we’ve have had for a very long time! Cost ranges from $9 to $22. Or bring your own.
Do enjoy this Easter Sunday with us. Please let us know by Tuesday 22nd. (Contact details in email sent out on 12 March by John Talbot)
