2020

Mid week Run – Wednesday 9 September

The September mid week run started on The Spit, the morning tea stop was at Jacobs Creek boatramp, with lunch at the Gold Coast Wake Park, Maudsland.  Some members, even the run organisers, took wrong turns in the cane fields around Jacobs Well, but all ended up at the lunch stop.

LSIM Run – Sunday 30 August

The August Last Sunday in Month run was to Canungra.  Morning tea stop was at Eagle Heights, with lunch at Cafe Mezz, in Canungra.  All members taking part in the run, practiced social distancing and keep in groups of 10 member.  Thanks to Charyl Robinson for organising.

Mid Week Run – Wednesday 12 August

The August Mid Week run was to Rathdowney and beyond.  Morning tea stop was at Darlington Park, Kerry, with lunch at Jubillee Park, Beaudesert.  22 intrepit members in 8 MGs and 3 non MGs took part in the run.

Morning Coffee Run – Saturday 18 July

The July Morning Coffee run was to the Gold Coast Wake Park, where 30 members watched the wake boarders of all ages on the adjacent lakes.  Back in the carpark on our way home, members descended on Neil Anderson’s MGC to inspect the engine bay.  Other MGs present included TF, A, Magnette, B, and modern Fs & TFs.

Mid Week Run – Wednesday 10 June

The June Mid Week run departed from Mudgeeraba, had a longish morning tea at the Apple Gum Park, Springbrook and finished with a picnic lunch at Beaudesert.  It started dry, but rained not long after we started and a few members pulled out, heading home.  Those of us in open MGs got a bit wet.

The January Mid Week run departed from Mudgeeraba, had a longish morning tea at the Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens and finished with lunch at the Historic Rivermill in Mt Nathan.
